Q: When I am home I have absolutely no service. it says extended. could the signal booster possibly work for me?

A: If you have service outside of your house such as on the street in front or back of your house then it will work if the booster is placed such that nothing is blocking it from the nearest tower for your service provider. If you have no service at all, even outside of your house, the booster will not work for you.  In order to boost a signal it needs at least (a weak) signal to begin with. you need some type of signal outside your home to be able to boost it. If you have a weak signal outside and non-existent inside, the booster will work well and give you a good signal inside home no matter what construction material the house is.

Q: Can I use a 75 ohm cable to connect the signal booster with the antennas? 

A: Yes, the signal booster can use the 75 ohm cable, but the attenuation is big.  We recommend 50 ohm cable for the signal booster for less gain loss and a better signal output.

Q: Can you just use the internal antenna without the external one? Or are both required to get the signal booster to work?

A: You need both antennas as the outside antenna picks up the signal and brings it into the booster and then retransmits your phone signal back to the tower. The inside antenna transmits signal to your phone and picks up the signal from your phone and sends it through the booster.

Q: I have installed the signal booster but not really working? Any insights? 

A: First, you must be in an area that has some signal in order for the booster to be able to increase the signal. It will not create a signal in an area that has none. If you have a signal, make sure all the lights are green. If not, you need more separation between the antennas. Also make sure the outside directional antenna is pointed at the nearest cellular tower for your service provider. You can find tower locations by doing a google search for your area. The outdoor antenna needs to be pointed in the general direction on the cell tower,  and if you think you have that correct move the antenna up higher!

Q: Can this signal repeater work with multiple carriers at the same time? 

A: Yes this signal repeater will work with multiple carriers at the same time as long as each one has some type of signal outside and they work on the same frequencies as the signal repeater.
